SAMMEE SCHIRMER

Sammee began her training at Bluffton School of Dance in Bluffton, SC, under Dawn Rosa Miller, and launched her performance career at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina in regional productions throughout high school and early college. She earned her BFA in Dance with a Ballet concentration and a minor in Business Studies from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City. Following graduation, she unexpectedly landed in Kansas City and started to perform with Tristan Griffin Dance Company and Wylliams/Henry Contemporary Dance Company. Interested in choreography and dance education she began teaching at Artists Revealed Dance Company, a pre professional contemporary training group  presented her work at Peter Chu and Alexandra Wells’ “Open Doors” festival. She currently tours with Adrenaline and Revive Dance Conventions as a tour assistant and guest instructor.

Dedicated to developing emerging artists, Sammee is the Artistic Director of Artists Revealed Dance Company and co-director of INTERSPACE, a national contemporary dance intensive. For teaching or choreography inquiries, please contact sammeeschirmer123@gmail.com.
