ARTISTS REVEALED 1

Artists Revealed is a pre-professional dance company that is held under the artistic direction of Sammee Schirmer. This company provides unique, challenging, and intimate contemporary and ballet training for dancers who wish to pursue a professional career in dance, either within a professional dance company or a dance degree from a college.

AR1 is open to any dancers over the age of 13.

Artists Revealed 1 is a select company for dancers ages 13 and up that provides the opportunity to explore their artistic voice while training in a pre-professional company environment. AR1 will immerse dancers in the world of professional dance and provide the tools, training, and knowledge necessary to support their growth as contemporary and ballet artists. Through consistent classes, focused training, and performance opportunities, dancers will develop their technical abilities, artistry, and creative expression in a nurturing yet challenging environment. AR1 members train two days per week, allowing for a deeper commitment to their artistic and technical development.

PERFORMANCE

OPPORTUNITIES

First Company members will have the opportunity to learn and perform multiple works created by our resident faculty, which will be presented in our end-of-season showcase. These works are designed to deepen dancers’ understanding of performance, artistry, technique, and collaboration while challenging them to grow as versatile and expressive artists. Through the rehearsal and performance process, dancers will gain valuable experience working within a company setting and expand their appreciation for the creative possibilities within choreography and dance.

Examples of past works can be found on the page entitled “Past Works.”
